Public account creation
The public account creation sidepage consists of several blocks.

![]()
The following fields are available in the block:
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Account ID | ID of the account for which the public account is being created. |
| Avatar | Image of the public account displayed to users. |
| Name | Name of the public account. It is displayed to subscribers in account selectors and subscription lists. |
| Description | Description of the public account. |

The field at the bottom of the block allows you to upload a document that will be available for the user to download. A separate document can be uploaded for each localization of the public account. If no document is available for the user's locale, the document uploaded for the English locale is displayed.
Please note! In the upper-right corner, you can set different localizations of the public account for users with different locales. To add another localization, click the language name and fill in the corresponding fields for that locale.
Subscription tariff
The block allows you to configure fees charged to the subscriber in favor of the public account owner. The tariff consists of two independent fees - Management fee and Performance fee. You can enable either one, both, or neither. If both fees are disabled, the tariff is free.

Management fee
When Management fee is enabled, specify:
Fee- fixed fee amount and currency;Billing period- fee charging frequency.
The fee is charged at the beginning of the billing period. The first charge is made when the subscription is created, and subsequent charges are made at the specified frequency according to the subscriber's individual schedule.
Performance fee
When Performance fee is enabled, specify:
Profitsharing percentage- percentage charged to the subscriber when they receive profit from copying trades from the public account;Calculation Period- fee calculation frequency. When calculation by position is used, the fee can be charged when a position is reduced or closed.
Please note! This type of fee is charged only when there is profit, taking into account previously charged fees according to the High Watermark (HWM) principle.
Performance fee calculation
When charging the fee (end of period, position closure, unsubscribe), the following formulas are used:
Fair Commission = (Total P/L + Paid Commission) × C
If Fair Commission is greater than Paid Commission, then:
Current Commissionis calculated as the difference betweenFairandPaidcommissions;- A transaction is executed to charge the
Current Commission; - The
Paid Commissionvalue is updated:Paid Commission(new) =Paid Commission-Current Commission
where:
Total P/L- total P/L on the account since the start of the subscription;Paid Commission- already charged performance fee (sum of previously executed transactions);C- commission percentage (Profitsharing percentage);Current Commission- fee amount to be charged at the current moment.
where:
Total P/L- total P/L on the account since the start of the subscription;Paid Commission- already charged profit sharing commission (sum of previously executed transactions);C- commission percentage (Profitsharing percentage);Current Commission- fee amount to be charged at the current moment.
If the Current Commission value is positive, a transaction is created for the corresponding amount. If the value is zero or negative, no fee is charged.
If several fees are set for a subscription at the same time, each of them is calculated independently using its own percentage and the amount of previously charged fees of the corresponding type.
Please note! When a public account is created, the broker fees configured in the copytrading settings are saved to it. Subsequent changes to the broker settings do not change the fees of an already created public account. For a specific public account, they can be changed using the Edit broker settings option.

Fee charging frequency
Management fee is charged according to the period specified in the public account settings. The period is calculated without taking weekends into account in Daily operations. The start date (X) of the period is the subscription start date. The end date is X-1 of the next period.
If the end date falls on a non-existent date (for example, June 31), it is calculated from the last existing day of the month.
Fee charging date calculation example: Subscription date (X): May 31 Fee charging frequency: Monthly Fee charging date (X-1): June 29Subscription date (X): May 12 Fee charging frequency: Weekly Fee charging date (X-1): May 18
Performance fee can be charged immediately when a positive PL is received on a position.
Subscription parameters
![]()
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Minimum subscription amount | Minimum amount that must be available on the account to subscribe to the public account. |
| Subscription step | Increment by which the amount used by the client to subscribe to the public account is increased or decreased (available in the app). |
| Subscribers amount booster | Value added to the visible number of subscribers. The field can be edited and can also accept negative values. Filling in the field is optional. |
| Available to profile groups | Determines the visibility of the public account for specific profile groups. If not specified, the public account is visible to all profiles. |
In the Overridden account group field, you can set an account group whose settings will be applied to the trading account when it subscribes to the public account.
Please note! If an Overridden account group is set for a public account, subscribers will not be able to unsubscribe from it while keeping their positions.
Important! After unsubscribing from a public account, the account group settings that were assigned to the trading account before the subscription are automatically reapplied to it. If the trading account was not assigned to an account group before the subscription, or if that group was deleted, the group specified in the Broker settings section in theClient open account groupsfield is applied to it. If no such account group is specified in the broker settings, the client will not be able to subscribe to a public account with anOverridden account group.
The Hidden checkbox allows you to hide the public account in the client terminal and the Unity Investments app.
When the Approved badge checkbox is enabled, the corresponding badge is displayed for the public account in the casual app, confirming that it is verified for the Unity Investments app client.
After clicking the Create public account button in the sidepage, the public account with the specified parameters appears in the Public accounts table with the Unverified status. When the status is changed to Active, the account becomes available to clients for subscription.
Important! To subscribe to a public account, the client account must have an account group assigned to special accounts when creating a subscription. Otherwise, the subscription is not possible. Groups for special accounts are assigned according to the following priority:
1.Overridden account groupwhen creating and editing a public account (applies to all accounts that subscribe to a specific public account);
2.Copy trading account groupfield of the profile group. Applies to accounts created for client profiles that belong to the group, if noOverridden account groupis specified in the public account;
