Instruments splits
Splits
This section is designed for viewing corporate events for equities - splits/consolidations, in which the number of shares for an instrument changes without changing the position value (for example, 1 share is divided into 2, or vice versa).
The split table contains the following fields:
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Instrument | Ticker and full company name. |
| Trade date | Date on which the split is applied. By default, the filter is set to Today. When you clear the filter, it is reset to Last year. |
| Old amount | Number of shares before split/consolidation. |
| New amount | Number of shares after split/consolidation. |
| After trading session | "Yes" if the split is applied after the close of trading. In this case, the split is applied to all positions open at the end of the day. For instruments on some Exchanges, this value may be set by default. |
Filters by Trade date and Instrument are available in the table.
The Duplicate button creates a new tab in the table with filters already enabled. The button with three vertical bars allows you to customize the fields displayed in the table. The Reverse arrow button returns the table to its default display.
