Portfolio offers

Portfolio offer is a publication type displayed as a banner on the Portfolio screen of the Unity Investments app. It allows the broker to show personalized offers to clients and restrict their display to specific accounts, profile groups, and account groups.

The table displays information about all created Portfolio offer publications:

Field name	Description
ID	Publication identifier in the platform.
Publish time	Date and time from which the publication can be displayed to the client.
Expired	Date and time after which the publication is no longer displayed.
Story topic	Publication name for internal use. It is not displayed to the client.
Source	Assigned automatically. Own - for publications created within the broker. External - for publications shared by an upstream broker.
Status	Current publication status: Published - the publication is active, Archive - the publication has expired, Scheduled - the publication time has not yet been reached.
Validity period	Remaining validity period of the publication.
Show	Determines whether the publication can be displayed to app users.
Autoshare	Indicates whether the publication is automatically shared with child brokers.
Story weight	Publication weight used to select an offer for display when several Portfolio offer publications are available at the same time.
Availability	Settings that restrict publication display by accounts, profile groups, and account groups. To change the settings, click Edit.

Creating and editing a Portfolio offer

To create a publication, click New portfolio offer. To edit an existing publication, click the edit icon in the corresponding table row.

The following main settings are available for the publication:

Field name	Description
Name	Publication name for internal use. It is displayed only in the platform Admin Terminal.
Autoshare	If enabled, the publication is automatically available to child brokers.
Show	If enabled, the publication can be displayed to app users.
Publish time	Date and time from which the publication becomes available for display.
Valid until	Date and time after which the publication is no longer displayed. If no value is specified, the publication validity period is not limited by this setting.
Weight	Publication weight used to select a Portfolio offer for display.

Availability settings

For a Portfolio offer, you can additionally restrict the clients to whom the publication is displayed:

When creating a publication, the settings are configured in the Availability block. For an existing publication, they can be changed using the Edit link in the Availability column.

The following optional multi-select settings are available:

• Accounts - individual accounts for which the publication is available;
• Profile groups - profile groups for which the publication is available;
• Account groups - account groups for which the publication is available.

Localization

The Localization block is used to configure publication content for each locale. To add another locale, click Add Language. To change an existing locale, click Edit.

The following settings are configured for each locale:

Field name	Description
Locale	Language of the publication content.
Preview title	Additional title displayed directly in the Portfolio offer banner.
Title	Main title displayed in the banner.
Cover image	Image displayed in the banner.
Markdown	Publication content displayed in the modal window after clicking the banner.

After the publication is saved, it becomes available for display according to its publish time, validity period, Show setting, and Availability settings.

Portfolio offer display

Only one available Portfolio offer is displayed at a time on the Portfolio screen. When selecting a publication to display, the system takes into account its weight, validity period, and whether it has previously been closed by the client.

The banner displays the title, preview title, and image.

When the user taps the banner, a modal window opens with the content of the Markdown field.

Opening the publication does not count as viewing it. A view is counted only when the user taps the close icon on the banner itself. After the current Portfolio offer is closed, the next available offer is displayed only after the user logs in to the app again.
