Splits
Split provider
Splits
are used for corporate actions such as splits or consolidations. If an issuer performs a corporate action, it becomes necessary to process this action in the system: either a split or a consolidation.
Table contents:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Account | the account holding the position for the instrument being split |
Instrument | the instrument for which the split must be processed |
Position amount | the current position volume on the account (before the split) |
Value date | the settlement date of the split transaction |
Trade date | the trade date of the split |
Trade ID | the split trade ID (assigned after the split is processed) |
Trade amount | the volume of the instrument in the position after the split is processed |
Multiplier | the factor by which the initial instrument volume in the position will be multiplied or divided after the split |
Remainder | the remaining fraction of a share after a stock split (for reverse splits), for which the client will receive a payout after the split is executed. |
Status | the status of the split |
For instruments where the After trading session
field is set to Yes
, all trades are considered, and splits are performed for all positions existing at the end of the day. If the value is set to No
, only positions at the start of the day are used for the split.
If there is a remainder after a split and the status is Not divisible
, you need to click the Make split remainder button. This will create a trade with transaction type Split remainder
to buy/sell the remaining volume from the split.
Please note! If the position volume of an instrument is changed after split and remainder transactions have already been executed, the split status will switch to Wrong amount
. To correct this, you must cancel the previously created transactions and then reprocess the splits.
The Make splits button allows you to process all splits with the Ready
status.
Once a split is processed, a corresponding trade and transaction will be created in the system.
To process a split for a specific instrument on an individual account, press the Make Split
button in the relevant row of the table.
To cancel an individual split, click Cancel trade
in the corresponding row of the table.
Please note! To cancel a split trade, you must first cancel the transaction. Its ID will be displayed in the notification when attempting to cancel the trade.
Important! Automatic split processing must be configured at 00:01
