Detached trades

Detached Trades

Detached trades may occur when an upstream broker manually enters trades on a Real account of a downstream broker. For example, if the main broker creates a trade on a white-label account, the white label will need to link the trade to the corresponding client account. Such trades may also occur if an existing trade was removed from the client account but remained on the external account.

Please note! When linking a trade to a client account, markups will be automatically calculated and added to the trade price.

The table content is similar to the trade tables in the system.

Filters are available for:

  • Account
  • Instrument category
  • Instrument

Clicking on the trade ID in the table will open a side page with trade details.

On the left side of the table, you can select multiple trades for the required operations by ticking their checkboxes.

For detached trades, you can change the side of a trade by clicking the Update side button. This can only be done before the trade is attached to an account. When the button is clicked, a side page will open where you need to select the new trade side and apply the changes by clicking UPDATE SIDE.

Clicking the Link trades button opens a side page for selecting the account to which the trade should be linked:

The Skip margin check checkbox allows you to add a trade without checking the account's margin.

Please note! In this case, auto-liquidation may trigger on the account if it is enabled in the margin profile settings.

Clicking the LINK TRADES button in the opened window links the trade to the selected account and removes it from the detached trades table.

The Cancel selected button at the top of the table allows you to cancel multiple selected trades. In the opened side page, you must specify the cancellation reason and confirm the operation by clicking CANCEL TRADE:

The Cancel trade button in the table row for a specific trade allows you to cancel a single trade:

For a single trade, you also need to specify the reason for cancellation. Additionally, you can choose to Skip margin check on the account from which the trade is being removed, and optionally Delete parent trade, i.e., the trade on the provider's account.

Please note! Cancellation is only possible for trades that were created directly in your broker instance. If the trade was created by an superior broker, you will need to contact them regarding its cancellation.

The Split 2 trades button at the top of the tab and the Split button in the trade row allow you to distribute securities from a trade across multiple accounts:

In the opened window, you need to select the accounts and specify the number of securities to be allocated to each. You can add an additional account for distribution by clicking ADD SHARE. When you click SPLIT, the system will create several trades (one for each selected account).

For detached trades, you can change the side by clicking the Update side button in the row of the required trade. This can only be done before the trade is attached to an account. Clicking the button will open a side page where you need to select the new side of the trade and apply the changes by clicking UPDATE SIDE.

The Retouch trades button at the top of the table allows you to distribute trades to accounts for which Linking Rules are configured in the Aggregator Settings. In this case, the trades are automatically distributed to the necessary accounts.
