Min margin balances

The Min margin balances tab allows you to set the minimum amount of funds required on an account to open or increase positions for the selected instrument group.

Click Add min margin balance and specify:

• Instruments group - the instrument group to which the restriction applies;
• Currency - the currency of the threshold value;
• Amount - the minimum currency amount required to open or increase a position.

If the account's Margin balance is below the specified value, close-only mode is applied to the instruments of the selected group. In this mode:

• opening a new position is prohibited;
• increasing an existing position is prohibited;
• reversing a position from one side to the other is prohibited;
• reducing and closing an existing position are allowed.

The restriction does not apply to instruments with the No margin leverage type configured in Margin settings.
