When logging in for the first time, the Broker sees their own profile pre-set and activated by Unity.
The broker's liquidity provider profiles are also pre-set by Unity, but they are not displayed in the broker instance. Only the accounts of its liquidity providers are available for display to the broker (for more information, see the Accounts section).
Liquidity providers provide prices to the broker and execute its orders, i.e., they are the broker's direct counterparties during trading. A liquidity provider in the system can be, for example, another broker, an exchange, an external system, etc.

Profile creation
Please note! A client profile can be created by the broker independently. A provider profile can also be created by the broker, but this only makes sense in cases where a bank account or counterparty account will be created for the profile in the future to account for transactions on the OTC market.
The Contract type specified for the profile will further determine the possibility of opening different types of accounts for it.
The Client and Provider type is common for the parent broker (provider) and the child broker (in this case, such a broker acts as a client) and is intended for creating shared accounts between two broker instances. A profile with this contract type can only be created by Unity administrators.
The Provider contract type is created by Unity if the profile is intended for the broker's liquidity provider. More details on this can be found in the Accounts section.
