Conversions

Conversions

Conversions in this subsection conversions are prepared for those accounts for which the corresponding setting is set in the Netting settings under the Conversions subsection.

Conversion is always a CASH-instrument operation. I.e. one currency is debited and another is credited. They can be sorted by netting type, instrument, base currency and category. Even if these types of instruments are not available to the client for trading, the conversion will still be a CASH instrument. Conversions always result in a real balance change. Conversions are shown as references to the instrument whose transaction was the catalyst. But the conversion transaction is CASH.

For certain types of transactions, conversions are generated only if these transactions are specified in the Netting settings.

Please note! If a conversion has already been processed, it will no longer be available for processing in the Nettings tab of Daily operations, as it is used for settlements directly in the quote currency of the transaction. Therefore, if conversions are processed in the quote currency, they will not be displayed for processing here.

The table consists of the following fields:

Field NameDescription
AccountThe number and name of the account on which the conversion was generated
Instrument(s)The instrument for which the conversion was generated
Transaction typeThe type of transaction whose profit/loss will be converted
Transaction subtypeThe transaction subtype (if specified)
Transaction IDThe unique identifier of the transaction that resulted in the conversion
Parent IDThe identifier of the linked transaction
AmountThe amount of the instrument's quote currency in the conversion
Converted amountThe volume of currency received after the conversion
RateThe rate at which the conversion will be performed for the transaction. Set in the Conversion rates tab
StatusConversion status: Ready - the transaction is ready to be processed, Exists - the transaction has already been processed
Netting dateThe date on which the conversion was generated
ActionsThe control buttons allow to process/delete only the selected conversion

To make all conversions, click the Make conversions button.

In this section, individual conversion can be deleted by clicking the Delete conversion button in the row with it. Multiple conversions can be deleted by selecting them and clicking the Delete conversion button at the bottom of the screen.

  • Instrument - the instrument on which the conversion transaction was formed;
  • Original currency - the quoted currency of the instrument;
  • Category - the asset category;
