Notification rules

Notification rules

The Notification rules tab of the Events section allows you to configure which channels are used to send notifications to the broker's member roles and access sets.

Notifications are combined into groups by event type, e.g. chat, system warnings, EOD, reports, margin calls. Each group is displayed as a separate section. Sections are collapsed by default: to expand a section, click its title.

The following filters are available at the top of the tab:

  • Event name - notification groups;
  • Template - notifications within groups as pairs of data type and action, e.g. Chat → Join admin.

Roles and access sets

An expanded section displays one or two tables:

  • Send to roles - rows for all member roles of the broker, the first column is Role;
  • Send to access sets - rows for all access sets of the broker, the first column is Access Set.

The SMS, Push, Email and Telegram columns are notification channels. A selected checkbox means that notifications of this group are sent to the role or access set through this channel. If the checkbox is cleared, notifications are not sent through this channel.

Initially, the channels set for the role or access set by default are selected.

The connectors used to send notifications through each channel are configured in the Channels tab.

Changing a rule

To change the channels for a role or access set:

  1. Click the pencil icon at the end of the row. The checkboxes of the row become available for editing.
  2. Select the required channels and clear the ones you do not need.
  3. Click Save in the row. To exit editing without changes, click Cancel.
Please note! Only one row can be edited at a time. Row changes are saved immediately after clicking Save, there is no common save button in the tab.

Included notifications

The Show included notifications link next to the section title opens the Included notifications sidepage with the list of notifications of this group.
