FIX messages

FIX messages

In this section you can find the history of all messages sent using the FIX protocol, including messages generated when trades are sent manually via FIX from a trade card or through bulk actions.

In this table you can see the following fields:

NameDescription
IDmessage ID
Account session IDID of user session within which the message was sent (from Accounts ➝ Accounts Fix sessions section)
Principal session IDThe ID of the principal session (from Brokers ➝ Fix sessions section)
Execution IDID of the execution in the system
Order IDthe ID of the existing order the message was sent about
Trade IDsthe ID of the corresponding trades
Messagecontent of the message sent using the FIX protocol (can be copied by clicking on the icon in the column)
Timetime the message was sent
Resend based onID of the original FIX message if the message was resent

The following filters are available in the table for more convenient sorting:

  • Principal session ID
  • Account session ID
  • Execution ID
  • Order IDs
  • Trade IDs
  • Time range
  • Message
Please note! If a FIX message was not sent for any reason, you can attempt to resend it by clicking the Resend FIX message button in the far-right column of the corresponding row. When you click the button, a confirmation message with an explanation will appear. After confirming, the FIX message will be resent.

Resending a FIX message is different from manually sending a trade via FIX. The Resend FIX message button resends an already generated message, while a trade can be sent manually via FIX from its card even if Must be sent to FIX: No.
