EOD rates

EOD rates

EOD rates are the closing rates for instruments. They are used, for example, to revalue instruments in positions, balances, swap rates, storage fees, brokerage commissions, and to ensure accurate reporting. EOD rates are loaded automatically from the source linked to the platform. If necessary, you can connect other sources. Rates are loaded into the system at 00 o'clock according to the broker's time zone.

Rates are filled automatically at the close of the day. If the default Internal setting is used in the Broker EOD Rates Settings, then if there is no EOD rate for the instrument in the system for the current day, the price from the last trade for the instrument, added two or more days ago, is used as the rate.

The rates are automatically recorded at the end of the trading day. If necessary, you can modify the rate for an instrument by entering the desired value in its row and clicking the Save button.

Please note! The section also includes instruments involved in margin calculations (for example, if an end-of-day rate is available for an option, the underlying instrument for that option will also be displayed).

A filter by Instrument is available in the tab.

Clicking Fill EOD Rates opens a sidepage where you can fill in the EOD rates by selecting Date in which the system will search for the rate and specify in the History EOD Account field the account from which the system will fill in the rates.

If the Last price checkbox is enabled, the system will use the last price found in the system if there is no closing rate of the day on the external account.

If the Strict date checkbox is enabled - the system will search for prices strictly on the day on which they are requested.

Rates are filled automatically at the close of the day. If the default Internal setting is used in the Broker EOD Rates Settings, then if there is no EOD rate for an instrument in the system for the current day, the price from the last trade for the instrument, executed two or more days ago, is used as the rate.

If necessary, the instrument rate can be changed by entering the desired value in the line with it and clicking the Save button.

The logic of automatic filling of EOD courses is described in more detail in the article EOD Rates settings. A description of how to use this functionality is available in the instructions.
