Instrument replacements

Instrument Replacements

This section displays a list of instruments for which parameter changes are planned, based on broker requests.

The table displays the following instrument information:

NameDescription
InstrumentThe instrument that will be replaced with a new one.
Instrument IDThe ID of the instrument to be replaced.
New instrumentThe new instrument created in the system as a result of the replacement.
New instrument IDThe ID of the new instrument.
Execution dateThe date set for the replacement.
CreatedThe date the instrument replacement record was created.
UpdatedThe date the instrument replacement was performed in the platform.
Notification timeThe time the instrument replacement notification was created.
Announcement dateThe date the instrument replacement was announced.
DescriptionDescription added for the replacement event.

The table includes filters by:

  • Execution date of the instrument replacement operation;
  • Instrument;
  • New instrument for which the position will be opened.
Please note! After the replacement, the old instrument will no longer be usable.

When the day in which the event was entered closes, clients with open positions for the existing instrument are notified about the preservation of existing positions, the upcoming cancellation of active trading orders, and the instrument name change.


On the instrument replacement date, positions requiring instrument replacement appear in the Daily operations ➝ Event trades ➝ Instrument replacements section. When a replacement operation is performed, account positions for the existing instrument are closed and positions for the new instrument are opened.

When the day in which the instrument was replaced closes, clients with open positions for the existing instrument are notified of the transfer of existing positions to the instrument with the new code, the cancellation of active trading orders, and the instrument name change.


On the closing dates of the day on which the event was entered and the day the instrument replacement is actually executed, clients receive push notifications. The contents of these notifications can be viewed in the platform's History ➝ Event Log section.
