Instrument selector

The instrument selector is used in various sections of the admin terminal to search for and select a trading instrument.

The list of available instruments is displayed on the right side of the window. Use the Search instrument field to find a specific instrument.

The following filters are available on the left side:

CategoriesFilters instruments by category, for example, CFD, Forex, Bonds, or Options.
Asset typeFilters instruments by the type of their underlying asset, for example, Equity or ETF.
ExchangeFilters instruments by exchange.
CountryFilters instruments by country.
Show expiredDisplays expired instruments, for example, futures or options that have reached their expiration date.
Show deletedDisplays instruments that have been deleted from the system.
Search in child segmentsIncludes instruments from exchange trading segments in the search. Trading segments may use either their own MIC code or the MIC code of the main exchange.

If multiple tenors are available for an instrument, you can expand the instrument directly in the list and select the required tenor.

Selecting an option

For option instruments, the selector additionally allows you to select a specific option by expiration date, option type, and strike price.

Select the Options category to display option instruments:

Expand the required instrument. The available expiration dates are displayed below it.

Click View next to the required expiration date to open the side page with the available options:

The selected instrument and expiration date are displayed at the top of the side page.

For each available option, the following parameters are displayed:

  • option type - Call or Put;
  • strike price.

Select the required option with the corresponding type and strike price.

If the selector is opened from the trade creation form, the selected option parameters are automatically populated in the trade.

After a specific option is selected, its type and strike price are displayed next to the corresponding expiration date.
