Watchlist
The Watchlist
to monitor market data for selected trading instruments.
Please note! Asset prices in the watchlist tickers are shown with the accuracy of the MPI of the instrument.
To add a watchlist click the Add Widget button then select Watchlist
from the drop-down menu. You can add an unlimited number of watchlists to your trading board. Multiple could be added to one trading board.
Selecting instruments in the watchlist changes the selected instrument in widgets such as Ticket
, Chart
and Market depth
.
The Add instrument
filter allows you to add the required instrument from the list by selecting the desired category, exchange, asset type or country for filtering.
When hovering over the instrument icon in the list, the followed information is shown:
- Instrument category.
- Instrument type - leverage or deliverable.
- Main session timeframes.
The following functions are also available for instruments in watchlists:
- ⓘ - instrument information window.
- ⋯ - removing an instrument from a watchlist.
The watchlist can be displayed in two views - grid and list. You can switch between them by clicking on the ☰ button in the upper right corner of the widget.
To buy or sell any type of asset, click on the BUY and SELL buttons. The buttons display the market prices of buying and selling the instrument. The value of the instrument spread is displayed between the prices.
Please note! The buttons are available for clicking in the widget only if the Quick trade
option is enabled in settings.
In settings you can also enable the Show trading amounts
option to add a volume bar button Σ to the widget.
List view features
The list view contains the following columns:
Instrument
- the list of the instruments you have added to the WatchlistPosition
- positions, orders and assets in your accountPL
- A profit and loss (PL) statement summarizes the revenues, costs and expenses incurred during a specific period.Day range
- shows the highest and lowest prices for a trading instrument during the day.Daily сhange
- the column displays the daily change in the price of the instrument in its quoted currency, as well as the percentage change.
Pelase note! For instruments of the CASH type, values are not displayed in the Position
column, as an actual position is not formed for such instruments.
By holding down the mouse button on ☰ icon, you can change the position of the instrument in the list.
If there is not enough space on the trading board, the widget takes a compact form, which displays the instrument and its Buy
and Sell
prices:
Grid view features
- The
Today
indicator returns the difference between the high and low prices of the day. It is presented in the quoted currency and as a percentage of the closing price.
Trading amount on each instrument can be change by entering the desired amount value into a line under Sell|Buy buttons,
The position of the tool in the watchlist can be changed by dragging it.
Please note! For the categoriesEquity
andBonds
the SELL button is inactive in the Hedge trading mode.
Dividend calendar
By clicking the button with the calendar image in the widget header, you can open the dividend calendar for all available instruments. The information is provided by the EOD Historical Data service:
The following information is available in the dividend calendar:
Ex-dividend date
is the day on which equities begin trading without the right to receive the last declared dividend. If the equity is purchased on or after this date, the right to receive the dividend is cancelled. In order for the payment to take place, the position on the account must be open up until this date.
Payment date
is the date of actual payment of dividends to the client’s account.
Value
is the value in the equities currency per equity.
The calendar has filters by Instrument
, Ex-dividend date
and Payment date
.
Please note! If the instrument has no dividends, the calendar will not be displayed either.
Interest rates
The Interest Rates
table displays swap rates on various instruments that a lender charges a borrower for providing an asset for temporary use. The table opens by clicking on the % icon in the widget header.
The table contains the following information:
