Market Depth

Market Depth

market_depth_1.png

In this widget you can see the current value of the asset price, information about the amounts of Sell (ask) and Buy (bid).

Buy orders are highlighted in green. Bars highlighted in red show information about pending sell orders. The length of the bar also reflects the number of these orders and depends on the amount.

The spread value is displayed between the levels with buy and sell prices. If there is no data for one of the levels, a dash is displayed in the spread field.

The Price parameter shows the price for the asset, which can change depending on the amount.

You can select the instrument for which you want to see information in the table of contents if you have not selected an instrument in the Watchlist or Ticket wigdets.

You can Pin the instrument by pressing the pin button. It is needed to avoid switching an instrument in a locked widget when you selecting another widget in the Watchlist or Ticket wigdets.

Hold on spread button is used to center the widget to spread value (especially useful if the Market Depth has a large number of lines with prices).

In the widget settings (the button with the gear image) you can change the format of its display:

  • View allows you to select the number of displayed columns - one or two.
  • Mapping changes the widget display type between linear and logarithmic.
  • Other Settings:
    • Use number abbreviations allows you to use abbreviations for large numbers.
    • The Number of rows setting allows you to specify the number of price rows displayed in the widget.
    • Price step allows you to specify the price step for the widget rows.

  • When there is a trading session for a certain trading instrument and quotas are received, the user sees quotes in the order book.
  • In the case when there is a trading session for an instrument and quotes are not received, the user sees information stating that there is no data on the instrument: “Information on this instrument is currently unavailable”.
  • Since the trading session for most instruments is active only during a certain period of time, during the hours when the instrument is in an offline session, there is no data for the Market Depth, but instead information is displayed indicating the time until the start of the trading session.
